Blackwell is an English civil parish within the district of Bolsover and the county of Derbyshire

Blackwell Parish comprises of the villages of Blackwell, Hilcote, Newton and Westhouses, and the hamlet of Old Blackwell. Blackwell Parish Council also runs six parks, four recreation grounds, three community centres, two football pavilions, a cricket pitch and a cricket pavilion. The football pitches and pavilions are leased by local football clubs and the cricket pitch and pavilion is leased and maintained by the local cricket team. There are also three allotment sites which are managed by the Allotment Association. Blackwell Parish Council is also the sole Managing Trustee of the charity: Hilcote Miners Welfare and Community Centre (520416) and sole trustee of the charities: Westhouses Memorial Playing Field (520419) and Newton War Memorial and Playing Fields (520418).
